GREY
Grey glass, or smoked glass, is tinted during manufacturing to create a soft, smoky appearance. It reduces light transmission while adding a modern and refined look.

Pilkington Optiwhite™ is a low-iron, extra-clear glass with high light transmission and virtually no green tint, making it ideal where true colours and visible glass edges matter.
CLEAR
ACID ETCHED
Clear acid-etched glass features a smooth, frosted finish that diffuses light while maintaining brightness. It provides privacy with a clean, modern look, making it ideal for doors, partitions, and decorative applications.

SAFETY
TEMPERED VS LAMINATED
Table tops made of tempered glass are an excellent option due to their superior strength and safety compared to regular glass. The glass becomes significantly stronger and up to five times more resilient by undergoing a unique heat treatment process.
If safety is a top priority, choosing tempered glass is the way to go. Its strength and resistance to breakage make it an ideal option. In case of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small, harmless pieces, significantly lowering the risk of injury.
Laminated glass comprises multiple layers of glass that are bonded with an interlayer, typically polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). This interlayer holds elements of the glass together in case of breakage, providing added security and protection. Laminated glass is a great choice for applications where safety is paramount.
TEMPERED
LAMINATED
GLASS THICKNESS
Select the right thickness for your glass table top based on its intended use and size. If the glass is being used as a protective cover over an existing surface — such as wood, marble, or other materials — we recommend a thinner 6mm (1/4″) glass, which provides excellent protection while maintaining a sleek, minimal profile. For standalone glass table tops that rest directly on a base or pedestal without additional surface support, a thicker glass of 10mm (3/8″) or 12mm (1/2″) is typically recommended to ensure stability, strength, and durability. Our team is always available to help you select the ideal glass thickness to meet your specific needs and ensure both safety and longevity.
See the chart below for available thickness options.
*Thickness requires a special order.
**Thickness can’t be tempered.
Laminated glass can be made from multiple glass panels of varying thicknesses, bonded together with interlayers to achieve the exact level of strength, safety, and sound insulation required. These panels can be laminated to create custom thicknesses — in some cases reaching up to several inches — making them ideal for demanding structural or security applications. You can also mix panels of different thicknesses, colors, or textures, such as combining clear and frosted glass, to achieve a distinctive look while maintaining the durability and security laminated glass is known for.
EDGE FINISH
FLAT POLISH
A Flat Polished Edge is the most common glass edge finish, providing a smooth, safe, and modern look. It’s ideal for table tops, shelves, and other exposed edges.
PENCIL POLISH
A Pencil Polished Edge gives glass a smooth, gently rounded finish with a soft curve like a pencil’s side, adding subtle elegance and everyday safety.
BEVELLED
A Bevelled Edge has an angled cut that adds depth and elegance, making it a popular choice for mirrors and decorative glass. Maximum bevel is 1″.
MITERED
A Mitered Edge features a precise 45° or 22.5° angled cut, allowing glass panels to join seamlessly at corners for a clean, modern look. It’s ideal for partitions and custom enclosures.
All of our glass table tops come with polished corners to ensure they’re smooth and safe to touch. This extra step removes sharp edges, giving your table a refined look while protecting you and your furniture from accidental bumps or cuts.
SHAPES
REGULAR SHAPES
Regular shape glass table tops — such as round, square, or rectangular — are timeless and versatile choices that complement any style of furniture. These classic shapes are easy to measure, fit most standard table bases, and bring a clean, polished look to any room. Whether you’re protecting a dining table, coffee table, or desk, a standard shape glass top is a simple way to add elegance and durability.
